Each class combines technique, live drills, and conditioning to help you get stronger, improve your movement, and sharpen your reflexes.
In every session, you'll start by learning specific Jiu Jitsu techniques step-by-step—such as how to escape common holds, control an opponent, or apply submissions safely. These techniques are broken down clearly and practiced with a partner in a slow, controlled setting.
After technique, you’ll move into live drills, where you apply what you’ve just learned in a more dynamic, flowing way. This helps your body learn how to react under pressure while staying calm and in control.
Over time, you’ll notice your reactions get quicker, your balance gets better, and your confidence in your body’s ability grows.

At our family-run academy, the guys are respectful—and encouraging. They genuinely want to see the women in class succeed, grow, and be just as prepared as anyone else to handle real-life situations. A Women’s Self Defense Seminar is a fantastic introduction to practical techniques designed to help you protect yourself and build confidence. These sessions focus on simple, effective moves you can use in everyday situations, like escaping grabs, maintaining awareness, and using your body’s natural strengths.
While a seminar is not a complete self-defense program, it’s a great way to get started, learn important basics, and experience the empowering feeling of taking control of your own safety.
Our seminars are laid-back, fun community events open to all women—whether you’re a complete beginner or just want a refresher. They’re a chance to connect with others, try something new, and build confidence in a supportive environment.
We also offer private seminars tailored for businesses, groups, or organizations interested in bringing practical self-defense training directly to their teams. These can be customized to fit your schedule and goals.
